The Bride's hometown

Kate is really excited to be throwing a huge party filled with friends and family celebrating something we can all agree is pretty awesome. She is the blushing bride (seriously - think beets), and she can't wait to marry her best friend.

After many adventures in the Canadian bush, Europe, Central America, Asia and more, Aaron finally took his first job as a high school history teacher, a difficult change in life style for him. However, when he saw how smoking hot the next door English teacher was, he knew he'd made the right choice. 4 years later, he's happy to have found someone crazy enough to share these adventures with him, and patient enough to keep him grounded.

The Groom's hometown

Grace is one half of a phenom-bomb maid of honor squad. She's the amazing sister of the bride. She's excited to be the star of the wedding photos and can't wait to dance by herself in a corner all night!

Hannah, a student of Boston University, at first questioned this well-dressed, long-haired hippie type, but has decided that he is more than capable of handling the force of nature that is her big (actually very tiny) sister. She is honored to celebrate their marriage, which will undoubtedly tame each of them in respectively necessary ways.

Jesse has had the distinct pleasure of knowing Aaron through every phase of his life, and he is thrilled (and relieved) that they survived their awkward early phases to become incredibly well-dressed, classy gentlemen. He is overjoyed with the addition of Kate to the Coleman family and excited to experience and support their next phase of life together.

As he rolled down Commonwealth Avenue on his super sweet scooter, 18-year-old Brazilian Wonder Vitor Petrone spotted a large goofy man, Aaron Coleman, whom he would know as his roommate for the next 7 years and his asexual life partner for eternity. Fast-forward those 7 years, the Brazilian Wonder operated with certain magnetism, convincing the greatest power couple since Beyoncé and Jay Z to join him on the West Coast.

The Bride's Happy Place

Joe, the bride's brother, is at the moment a full-time outdoor professional living and working in upstate Maine. When he isn't on the trail or in the river, he can be found on his motorcycle or chasing waterfalls (recklessly ignoring TLC's advice to chuck his kayak off of them). Joe couldn't be happier to be welcoming his new brother to the family (finally!) and to be standing next to a wonderful sister for their happy day.

Sony is a freelance science writer based in Brooklyn, New York. A native Los Angeleno, Sony flew east to attend undergrad at Boston University, where she met her dearest friends Aaron Coleman, Vitor Petrone and Nikki DiLoreto. Today, she feels lucky to include Kate Giffune in that circle.

The Groom's Happy Place

Known Aliases: Twitch; Sissa; Madame President Current Whereabouts: Los Angeles, CA Habits: Pretending to be other people; Rereading Harry Potter; Knitting; Stress-baking; Partaking in lengthy Skype coffee dates with the bride (10+ years of friendship. Because Kate is the best.)

If Kelsey and Katie's friendship were a small child, she would be a precocious 8 year old, obsessed with SciFi and generally being quirky. Kelsey met the beet-red blushing bride at BC, where they lived as roommates, a love affair that’s continued these past few years post-college, complete with wine & cheese nights, Dr. Who marathons, and lots of craft beer. Kelsey is proud and happy that Katie and Aaron are getting married, and honored to be celebrating as a bridesmaid on their special day.

Alden first met Aaron at the age of 14 while they were both participating in summer canoe trips at Camp Wabun. After many years and many adventures, Vitor, Sony, Nikki, Aaron, Kate, and Alden all became roommates in Boston, sharing in 4 years of fun, life, and love.

Nikki DiLoreto is a New York based Theatre/Film Director. She is honored to be a part of this awesome union. She would like to thank the RA's at Boston University's Sleeper Hall for bringing Aaron, Sony, Alden, Vitor, and now the beautiful Kate into her life.
